I want to share something with you, and I truly hope it doesn’t come across as bragging. That is not my intention at all. I’m simply so incredibly grateful for how I feel right now that I can’t help but share it.
This morning I walked around my yard — nothing dramatic, just a couple hundred feet — then came inside and played the piano for about ten minutes. After that, I sat down and checked my blood pressure. My resting heart rate was 51. I still can hardly believe it.
A few weeks ago my triglycerides were 38. My HDL was 75. My blood pressure is consistently around 110 over 60. Numbers aside, the most important thing is how I feel — and I feel absolutely fantastic.
Over the last ten years I’ve lost 45 pounds, and I’m back to the same 30-inch waist I had 50 years ago. But again, this isn’t about the numbers or the size. It’s about the energy, the clarity, and the deep sense of well-being I feel every single day.
I’m not joking when I say I plan to live to at least 100. I feel like I’m building the foundation for that now.
And I just wanted to share my happiness with you. If it sounds like I’m excited, it’s because I am. I’m simply grateful.
I hope you’re all feeling strong and well too.
