Picture this: I’m walking through a bustling public square or a concert hall intermission over in Portugal, and right there in front of everyone, I lower myself down into a deep, perfectly still 10-minute horse stance.

Naturally, people stop dead in their tracks. They stare, smile, and eventually someone wanders over to ask the obvious question: “What in the world are you doing?”

Now, I could give them a dry lecture about leg strength, balance, or my 38 years at the YMCA. But where’s the fun in that?

Instead, I pause, gaze off thoughtfully into the distance, and reply with absolute, serene gravity: “I’m not entirely sure… but I think I’m beginning to see the Inner Light.”

While they’re standing there trying to process this sudden moment of high spiritual enlightenment, I look them right in the eye and deliver the ultimate reveal: “And my Inner Light has told me that this is possibly the greatest movie ever made!”

Out comes my phone, and before they know what hit them, I’m showing them the original trailer for Andy Warhol’s 1970s cult classic, Frankenstein in 3D!

To me, nothing beats subverting expectations with a good laugh. People might expect a solemn lecture on meditation or physical discipline, but handing them a slice of campy 3D horror cinema brings pure joy, breaks the ice, and creates an unforgettable memory.

If you want a little spooky cinema inspiration yourself, check out the clip that started the trick: Andy Warhol’s Frankenstein 3D Trailer.

Happy Halloween to everyone out there—may your legs stay strong, your horse stance stay steady, and your “Inner Light” guide you to the great movie classics! 🎃✨
